Your structure
Levels in your names, in your order.
You type the levels your school teaches and drag them into the order you teach them. Nothing is hard-coded. A level that does not split into arms is marked single-stream, and then no screen in the product ever asks a teacher to pick “A or B” for a class that has neither.
Add the conventional ladder beside it and both run in the same school, off one student roster.

Subjects and the card
Arabic that reads as Arabic.
A report card that renders اللغة العربية as a row of boxes tells every parent who reads it what the school thinks of the subject. Edsynk detects Arabic in a subject name and sets that line in Noto Naskh Arabic — on the report card and on the class broadsheet. We hold a printed card against the Arabic before any school goes live.
- You type the subject names. There is no fixed list to fight.
- Mark a subject as Islamic and it stays grouped and colour-coded on the timetable.
- Write a name in Arabic and the card prints it in Arabic — Naskh, letters joined.
- Electives work the same way: a student who does not sit a subject has no row for it.
Hifz
Where every student has reached, on one screen.
Open the Hifz register and you see the whole school at once: the current juz, the current surah, the verses memorized, when the student was last assessed, and a note for quality. Update a student in a few seconds. It is the ledger the head of Tahfiz keeps in a notebook, kept where nobody can lose it and where the proprietor can read it without asking anyone.
If your school also scores Hifz as a subject, add it to the subject list. It is then computed and printed on the report card like any other subject, on your own grading scheme.
What it does not do yet
The register records where a student has reached. It does not yet log the daily cycle — sabaq, sabqi and dhor marked session by session — and it does not score Tajweed.
We would rather you read that here than find it in month two. If the daily cycle is how your Tahfiz runs, say so when you talk to us: we build next what pilot schools ask for, and no one has a stronger claim on that queue than the schools we start with.

The junior ladder and the senior ladder can mark differently.
Set one scheme for the school, then override it on any level that marks its own way — two CAs or three, your weights, your pass mark, and grade bands you write yourself. A1 to F9 on one ladder and Mumtaz, Jayyid Jiddan, Jayyid on another is a setting, not a special request. Edsynk computes totals, grades and positions to those rules and shows its arithmetic, so your exam officer can check it against a calculator.

The week you actually run
Set your operating days. If your week is Saturday to Wednesday, the timetable and every teacher's schedule are Saturday to Wednesday.
Two ladders, one school
Hybrid schools run the conventional side and the Islamiyyah side in one place — one student record, one roster, one results run.
Scores from a phone
A teacher enters a class on any Android. The phone holds the scores when the network drops and sends them up when it returns.
Nobody publishes alone
Scores are computed, checked on the broadsheet, then sealed. After sealing, a correction becomes version 2 and the old QR still resolves.
